Healthcare associated infections (HAIs) including ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP) remain one of the most significant challenges facing modern medicine, particularly with the rise of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).
There are more than 2 million HAIs and 75,000 VAP cases that contribute to an annual economic burden of US$28 billion per year in the US alone.

What is antimicrobial blue light technology?
Antimicrobial blue light (aBL) is a non-chemical disinfection technology proven to neutralise bacteria, mould and many viruses without contributing to antimicrobial resistance.
aBL operates within the visible light spectrum (405 and 470 nanometres) and activates naturally occurring molecules within microorganisms that produce reactive oxygen species, which damage and inactivate biolfilm.
Advances in LED technology have made it possible to deliver targeted, high intensity blue light safely and reliably within medical and healthcare applications.
Lindo Life Science applies this technology to deliver autonomous, continuous infection prevention at the source.
