Lindo has been awarded the Best Patient Impact Award at MedTech World Asia 2026, recognising its work to advance a new model of infection prevention designed around better outcomes for patients.
Presented at the MedTech World Asia Awards in Hong Kong, the Best Patient Impact Award honours initiatives focused on measurable improvements in patient outcomes or experiences, including accessibility, real-world implementation and the long-term sustainability of impact.
The recognition comes as Lindo continues to advance its antimicrobial blue light (aBL) technology platform, designed to prevent infection at the source by embedding continuous antimicrobial protection directly into healthcare environments and devices.
Lindo’s lead medical device, Lindo Tube, is a first-in-class antimicrobial endotracheal tube being developed to reduce the risk of ventilator-associated pneumonia in patients requiring mechanical ventilation.
The same core technology is also being applied through Lindo Drain, a purpose-designed solution focused on reducing microbial contamination and biofilm formation in healthcare drainage environments, where sinks and drains can act as reservoirs for harmful pathogens.
Together, Lindo Tube and Lindo Drain demonstrate the broader potential of Lindo’s platform: applying continuous, non-chemical antimicrobial protection at critical points within the healthcare environment to help reduce infection risk before it reaches the patient.
For Lindo Founder and CEO Robert Gangi, winning an award centred specifically on patient impact is particularly meaningful.

The award adds to growing international recognition for Lindo as the company works towards its mission of making continuous infection prevention part of healthcare systems worldwide.
